We will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from October 24-31.  Our message to students is to make the choice to stay drug, alcohol and tobacco free.  To make good choices, students need to learn the importance of responsibility.  We will still have a few dress up days, but will also assign a few tasks next week to promote being responsible!  Please encourage your child to participate!  You may email pictures to me at  or to your child’s teacher.  See the elementary school newsletter for full details!

The GUIDE for Life is a special program from the Arkansas Department of Education that contains information on 5 principles.  Each principle represents a set of skills needed to thrive at home, school, on the job and in the community.  This 5-step process can help students achieve personal success.  You can go to the counseling classroom in your child’s google classroom and click on the GUIDE for Life tab for more information and videos.

Magnet Cove Elementary took part in the Great Kindness Challenge and is proud to announce that we have been officially acknowledged as a Kindness Certified School.  We are lucky to have such kind students and are so proud of them for taking the challenge and performing extra acts of kindness!

Please save all of your can tabs and send to me throughout the school year.  They will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Little Rock.  The money received for the donated tabs helps provide families a place to stay when they have a family member in the hospital.
