The CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Mobile Mammography Unit will be on the Lakeside campus October 25, 2021. You will need to call (501) 622-2174 to schedule your screening mammogram appointment. You will need to specify that you are scheduling for the mobile unit at Lakeside School District. This event is open to anyone in the community that is eligible.
Annual Report to the Public
The Magnet Cove School District will hold its Annual Report to Public in the elementary cafeteria on Monday, October 25th, at 6:00 p.m. with the monthly school board meeting to immediately follow upon completion of the Annual Report to Public.
Homecoming is Friday, October 22nd! The afternoon ceremony will be at 2:00 pm in the high school gym. Anyone can come to the ceremony as long as they wear a mask. If you are participating in homecoming (maid or escort), you need to arrive by 12:00 pm for pictures. Girls and guys will be excused all day. This will be an excused absence, but students are still responsible for missed work. The night ceremony starts at 6:30 pm, girls and their family escorts will need to be there by 5:30 pm for pictures. Order forms for pictures for the afternoon ceremony (captured by Liz Sparling Pfeiffer) are attached. If you would like to order pictures, the money is due prior to the ceremony and there are no proofs. Forms have been sent home with the girls and football boys, emailed to the girls and football boys, and sent via Remind to the girls. We will have Wingard Photography for the night ceremony, and we are waiting to hear back about forms and ordering. Rehearsals for Homecoming will be Thursday around 10:00 am in the gym with girls and football boys, and then the girls will go to the field for rehearsals. This will be an excused absence but students are still responsible for missed work. Students will report to their scheduled classes and will be dismissed by intercom for rehearsals. Homecoming shirts should be available for pickup in the office on Monday, October 18th.
Pee-Wee Basketball (Grades 3-6)
If your child is interested in playing pee-week basketball this year please complete the Google Form below. This is open to boys and girls in grades 3-6. Deadline to sign up is 10/24.
The band boosters are selling raffle tickets for a 1/4 beef already processed and 1/2 pig already processed. The prices are $10 for the beef and $5 for the pig. You can purchase tickets at any home football game at the tailgate table or from Nurse Reid, Mr. Polk, Mr. Beck or someone on the band boosters.
